There are plenty of things that you will like about your job, however, you will find that you may have a hard time because you don’t like the people around you. You will find that the people you work will be the real reason why you will want to stay or leave. However, you should not allow yourself to give up any opportunities just become you don’t like someone. You will find that there are so many things that you can do to stick with the job and to excel with the job.

First, you will have to use mind over matter; meaning, you will have to psych yourself out. Think about how long your day is. All you have to keep in mind is that you can clock in, do your job (and you should do it well), and then clock out. You don’t have to associate with someone or anyone. You don’t have to go out of your way to make relationships with your co-workers. However, most of the time it’s just a few people that you can’t stand to work with, but if you find someone whom you can clique with you’ll feel better. You can always take the opportunity to associate with someone who you can tolerate, but you don’t have to like them. This is a good thing to keep in mind when it comes to breaks and lunch. You’ll be able to feel like you fit in, but you don’t have to go the extra mile. This is just one of the things that you can do.
